Kelly B Wiens

I grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan, Canada, where my parents nurtured my love for God, family, and music. I gave my life to Jesus as a young boy, but it was during my teenage years that I began pursuing a personal relationship with Him through prayer and Scripture. That journey resulted in God healing some deep wounds in my heart as I encountered the transformative love of God the Father through Jesus and began to hear His voice like I had always longed for, beginning to know God personally.

For more than 34 years, my wife, Lani, and I have shared a passion for music, ministry, and family. Together we have raised six children, welcomed one son through adoption, served as foster parents, and are now blessed with four grandchildren. Our hearts have also led us to support vulnerable children through ministry in Uganda.

Over the years, I have worked as a farmer, advertising representative, climate researcher, music teacher, piano tuner, youth pastor, prayer leader, and worship director. Each season has reinforced one calling—to encourage people and point them toward hope.

Today I serve as the volunteer Worship Director at Winnipeg Centre Vineyard, while Lani serves as Pastor of Youth and Children. My greatest joy is writing songs that reflect God's love, faithfulness, and the hope I have found in Jesus. Through FireRunner Music & Ministries, I share music, stories, and teaching that encourage people to discover their identity, purpose, and the unconditional love of God.

My prayer is that whether you listen to a song, read a story, or join us at an event, you will leave encouraged, inspired, and reminded that you are deeply loved and created with purpose.
